1) Cannabis Staff in British Columbia
According to BC regulations, people who work in a cannabis retail store must:
- Be at least 19 years old
- Be security-verified every two years
- Produce ID for inspectors, if asked at any time while working
- Provide the Province with their updated information
The Worker Qualification Guidebook outlines the security verification process and the requirements.
Note that, security-verified workers will need to pass the provincial Selling it Right program.
